Release 6.0
Join us for the next instalment of Release, a monthly exploration of movement, embodiment and the body’s innate capacity to release tension.
Each gathering offers a glimpse of the practices we’ll explore more deeply at Arc’s Baja retreat, The Passage, next March. Each session builds on the last, creating space to deepen our relationship with the body, explore held tension and discover what emerges when we let go. While sequential, you’re also welcome to join at any point in the series.
Patricia will open with a flowing yoga practice, followed by TRE® led by Hayley. TRE® (Tension Releasing Exercises) is a somatic practice that uses simple movements to activate the body’s natural tremoring response, supporting the release of tension and stress held in the body.
ABOUT HAYLEY ELMES, MSc, RCC, CCTP, MBPsS Hayley is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and EMDR therapist with 20 years of experience in trauma and somatic healing. She is one of a handful of TRE® providers in British Columbia.
