More than Just a Co-working Space

The term co-working is thrown around quite a bit and for good reason. Having an open office for groups, freelancers and entrepreneurs is a fast-growing business and it offers independent workers some serious benefits. Most notably, a place to get to work everyday while interacting with peers inside and outside of their industries. And while co-working is part of our mission at Werklab, we are also a place to do good work – regardless of who with or what it is for. It turns out co-working is only one of many things we have committed to, yet it doesn’t fully encapsulate the whole vision of what we are attempting to do.

Community, comfort in familiarity and mindfulness are all part of our approach to creating a space that is the work home to many people at many times – both during work and play times. Werklab is also a work club of sorts. Because we are membership based, only members are part of our space. And while they don’t need to learn any secret handshakes or wear a letterman jacket, they do subscribe to the community we are building here and in the process create real relationships that develop in and outside of the space.

There are many perks to working in a co-working space but at the top of our list is the community. Seeing relationships build and helping to form new bonds is one of our greatest pleasures.

If you are looking for a space that makes space for you to do good work, consider Werklab.
